Out Of Hours
Between the hours of 6.00pm and 8.30am, weekends and Bank Holidays, all calls for non life-threatening care will be handled by the NHS 111 Service. If you require this service for an emergency that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please dial 111 first and they will make arrangements for a health professional to speak to you or decide whether you require to be seen.

Emergencies
If you need a doctor in an emergency during surgery hours the receptionist will pass the message straight to the doctor or put you through to speak to the doctor. If you need to be seen you will be given a time to attend. EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS are intended for one problem only. These appointments are reserved at Hoo and Gillingham only, are held between 11.00 - 11.30am and 5.00 - 5.30pm and are limited to five minutes each.
In life-threatening emergencies, such as profuse bleeding, collapse, unconsciousness, acute chest pain or severe breathlessness telephone 999 for an ambulance.
